Maulik Joshi serves as the president and CEO for Meritus Health. Prior to coming to the organization, Dr. Joshi was the executive vice president of integrated care delivery and chief operating officer for the Anne Arundel Health System, a regional health system headquartered in Annapolis, Md., that serves an area of more than 1.2 million people.

Previously, Dr. Joshi served as the associate executive vice president at the American Hospital Association and president of the Health Research & Educational Trust. He has a doctorate in public health and a master’s in health services administration, both from the University of Michigan. Dr. Joshi has served on numerous not-for-profit boards within and outside of health care, including most recently, as a governor-appointed commissioner on the Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC).
